Parish Administrator, Heather Klose, has been with First Lutheran in this position for the past five and a half years.  She graduated from Mifflinburg High School and attended Bloomsburg University, majoring in Business Administration.   Heather has extensive background in Medical Office Administration.  In addition to her job here, she works part time for Schnure’s Disposal doing all their business accounting.

Heather has two daughters; McKenna and Bailey.  McKenna is a sophomore at Indiana University of Pennsylvania majoring in Nursing.  Bailey is a six grader at Mifflinburg Middle School.  

Heathers hobbies include reading, walking on her tread mill or the trail, baking and decorating cakes and many other crafts.  She also loves time at the beach with her family and friends.  

Heather and the girls also love the fourth member of their family, Cruz.  Cruz is a Westie-poo who has tremendous energy.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

Diane Scott

Director of Music Diane L. Scott holds an MA from Indiana University of PA.  She is curently on the music faculty of Susquehanna University where she teaches piano and accompanies students and faculty recitals and concerts.  She maintains  her private piano studio as a Suzuki teacher.

Joining the staff of First Lutheran in 1997 Diane organized the Chancel Choir recording of a CD, conducted Mendelssohn's "Elijah" with other members of the community and directed two performances of "Amahl and the Night Visitors."  In 2014 she was asked to serve as conductor of the Community Reformation Bicentenial Service in New Berlin.

Diane conducts the Chancel Choir,  plays organ for the traditional services, leads the Praise Team for Contemporary Service, helps to direct children's programs and organizes music for Christmas and Easter music.

All music groups are volunteer and open to any interested person.  Even if you don't  play an instrument, the church owns many auxilliary percussions to inspire any age!

The Chancel Choir is a volunteer choir ranging in age from High School to older.  Rehersal is Wednesday night 7:15 to8 pm.

The Praise Team utilizes keyboards, guitars, drums and vocal offerings.  A wide variety from Worship Songs to top 40 Christian music.

This also is a volunteer team.  The age of participants ranges from Middle School to under 30.  Rehersals are 7:30  AM Sunday morning.
